Toilet repair in the San Gabriel Valley
A toilet that refills on its own every few minutes is wasting water around the clock. Lift the tank lid, snap a photo, and text it to (310) 628-9399.

Running and refilling
The usual cause is the flapper at the bottom of the tank. Once the rubber warps or the seat gets rough, tank water leaks into the bowl and the fill valve keeps topping it up.
A fill valve that hisses, or water running into the overflow tube, points at the valve itself. Both parts are standard and swap without pulling the toilet.
Rocking bases and seepage at the floor
A toilet that rocks has usually loosened at the closet bolts, and over time that can break the wax seal underneath. Water at the base after a flush is the sign we look for.
Resetting the toilet on a new seal and bolts is a routine fix. If the flange under it is broken or the subfloor is soft, we stop and talk through it before going further.
Supply line and shutoff
The braided line from the wall to the tank and the little shutoff valve behind it both age. A drip at either one is a common, quick fix.

Toilets with a clog past the trap, or several fixtures backing up at once, are a main-line problem. We root those too; see drain rooting.
Quick answers
Is a running toilet worth fixing right away?
A running tank wastes water every hour it runs, so it is worth fixing soon. The parts involved are usually small.
Can you replace the whole toilet?
We can swap a toilet on the existing connection. Moving it or changing the drain is remodel work.
